ENI Facades partnered with Christchurch City Council and Fulton Hogan to fabricate striking metal façades for three bridges along Christchurch’s Northern Corridor highway. This prestigious civil project demanded coordination with multiple teams and parties to ensure seamless execution. These bridges now stand as captivating landmarks on the Christchurch motorway, particularly when illuminated at night.
As manufacturers of these facades, we encountered challenges requiring innovative solutions. Safety was paramount, especially concerning potential glare for drivers. Additionally, the bridges’ convex concrete structures posed challenges for our bracketing system, necessitating flexibility for uneven surfaces.
Our design team played a pivotal role in addressing these challenges. Working closely with engineers, we developed CAD designs optimised for manufacturing while meeting stringent safety standards. High quantities of panels and brackets were produced efficiently to meet project timelines, ensuring a seamless roll-out.
With our comprehensive logistics service, we facilitated the delivery of individual components to the work site. Collaborating closely with Fulton Hogan, we provided on-site support during installation, ensuring precision and quality every step of the way.
