In collaboration with Hierarchy Group, ENI Facades crafted an undulating aluminium facade with intricate perforations, powder-coated to capture the essence of the Central Otago sunset. This facade not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the pool but also blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape, mirroring the rolling hills and golden hues of the region. In addition to the facade, we designed and installed louvre screens to provide shelter from the harsh sun for pool users. These screens ensure that the pool area remains comfortable during daylight hours, offering both protection and privacy. The design by Hierarchy Group focused on a large, floating roof structure that folds and concertinas over the building. The roof sides are screened with powder-coated flat bars for ventilation and security. This thoughtful design wraps around the pool, making optimal use of the site. Located next to bike trails, the Roxburgh Area School, and overlooking the Clutha River, the revitalised pool is now an incredible asset to the Central Otago community. It provides a safe and beautiful space for swimming and recreation, benefiting the community for generations to come.
